Lalark started with literal years of looking for a vibrator that was cute and made well. Our founder kept her eye out for something made with the same care she loved in her favorite things.

The closest she came to finding something adorable was while traveling: a little cat-shaped one that wasn’t quite right. It did give her the confidence, though, that the feeling was possible, so she went home and started sketching.

Bun took a long time to get right. The shape had to fit snugly in a palm. The materials had to be right. She wanted the box to be worth keeping. And everything had to pass one question: would this live on the nightstand, or end up in the drawer?

The name Lalark comes from to lark: a bit of fun, had for its own sake.
